Sri Lanka, May 13 -- The entrance to the Southern Expressway towards Colombo at the Welipenna Interchange has been inundated due to heavy rainfall, the Road Development Authority (RDA) said.

As a result, light vehicles are currently unable to enter the expressway towards Colombo from that point.
