Srilanka, July 22 -- Three schoolchildren who were critically injured after a three-wheeler travelling from Nallathanniya to Maskeliya plunged into a precipice near Mohini Falls have been transferred to the Dickoya Base Hospital for further treatment.



The accident occurred on the Nallathanniya-Maskeliya main road near Mohini Falls, when the three-wheeler veered off the road and fell into the precipice. Two passengers travelling in the vehicle died in the accident, while three schoolchildren sustained serious injuries.



The injured children were initially admitted to the Maskeliya Divisional Hospital. However, due to their critical condition, they were later transferred to Dickoya Base Hospital.
