SriLanka, Oct. 31 -- Based on intelligence received by military intelligence, a suspect has been arrested along with "Ice" (crystal methamphetamine) by the Panadura Division Crimes Investigation Bureau.

Acting on the intelligence received, a raid was carried out jointly by officers of the Sri Lanka Army and the Panadura Division Crimes Investigation Bureau in the Pinwatta area of Panadura.

During the operation, the suspect was arrested, and 56 grams and 490 milligrams of crystal methamphetamine in the suspect's possession were taken into custody by the officers.

The Army stated that the value of the seized narcotics is approximately Rs. 480,000.
