Srilanka, July 27 -- Sri Lanka's Athletics Selection Committee has tendered its resignation, citing several reasons for the decision.



The committee members handed over their resignation letter to the Secretary of the Ministry of Sports today (27).



The members of the Athletics Selection Committee are:

Former Assistant Director of Sports



Col. M.K.P. Jayasekara

Former national athlete and record holder



Ravi Vidyalankara

Former public school record holder
