Sri Lanka, ADB discuss development priorities for 2026-2029
Srilanka, Oct. 5 -- Sri Lanka's development plans for the 2026-2029 period and priorities for future projects supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) were discussed at a special meeting held at the Presidential Secretariat.
The meeting was co-chaired by Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake and ADB Country Director for Sri Lanka Shannon Cowlin, the President's Media Division said in a statement.
The discussion was held as a preparatory meeting ahead of the ADB programme review scheduled for October 5 and 6, 2026, which will focus on the successful implementation of the Bank's annual programme for 2027.
