Sri Lanka, April 15 -- Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, and North-western provinces and in the Anuradhapura district after 1.00 p.m. today (15), the Department of Meteorology stated.

Fairly heavy falls of about 50 mm are likely at some places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts, the Met Department added.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Northcentral and Uva provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Vavuniya and Kurunegala districts during the early hours of the morning.
