New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- The Police Headquarters has introduced a new WhatsApp service to make it easier for the general public to obtain information and make inquiries regarding Police Clearance Certificate applications.



The new service, operated by the Police Clearance Division, came into effect yesterday (23).



The public can now contact the division via WhatsApp on 071-8595950. Police said the number is dedicated exclusively to WhatsApp messaging.



The service will allow applicants to submit necessary information through WhatsApp and make inquiries by exchanging messages directly with the Police Clearance Division.
