Srilanka, Sept. 17 -- Police have uncovered more details regarding the shooting incident targeting a three-wheeler driver near the 'Kalu Palama' in Dematagoda this evening (17).



The three-wheeler driver, who was injured in the shooting, has succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.



The victim was reportedly riding his three-wheeler when he came under gunfire.



CCTV footage has reportedly captured two suspected shooters arriving on a motorcycle shortly before the shooting.



The deceased has been identified as a 50-year-old resident of Galle, police said.



The motive for the shooting and the identities of those involved have not yet been revealed.
