Srilanka, Aug. 31 -- Police have raided a large-scale illegal liquor distillery operating in the Madarawatta area of Pahala Diyadora within the Kuliyapitiya Police Division and arrested a suspect.



The raid was carried out today (31) by a special team from the Walana Central Anti Vice Striking Force, following a covert investigation launched based on information received by the unit's Officer-in-Charge.



The operation was conducted on the instructions of Assistant Superintendent of Police Rohan Olugala, Director of the Walana Central Anti Vice Striking Force.
