Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- Ishan Sanka Mapitigama has been elected as the Basnayake Nilame of the Sabaragamuwa Maha Saman Devalaya.

He was elected as the Chief Custodian during a vote held at the Ratnapura District Secretariat today (20).
