SriLanka, Oct. 20 -- Former Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris has left the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) after recording a statement for approximately two hours.

He arrived at the Commission this morning (20) following a notice directing him to appear before it.

He was reportedly summoned to record a statement in connection with an investigation into a meeting held during his tenure as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
