SriLanka, Oct. 9 -- A discussion to review the progress of the Clean Sri Lanka 'Clean Colombo' programme has been held at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (09), under the chairmanship of Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, Secretary to the President.

Several initiatives are being implemented under the programme, including the rehabilitation and improvement of the sewerage network and drainage canals, environmental beautification, and the streamlining of waste management, the President's Media Division (PMD) said in a statement.

During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on the projects and action plans being implemented by the relevant institutions.
