Sri Lanka, April 3 -- The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that water supply interruptions will continue in several areas within the Colombo District today (April 3) due to the prevailing dry weather conditions affecting the island.

According to a statement issued by the Board yesterday (02), water supply will be suspended in areas including Padukka, Homagama, Palanwatta, and Pannipitiya, which depend on the Kalatuwawa Reservoir and Labugama Reservoir.

The water cut in the Padukka area is currently in effect, having commenced at 8:00 p.m. yesterday (02), and is scheduled to conclude at 8:00 p.m. today (April 3).
