Srilanka, June 17 -- The Court of Appeal today decided to conclude the proceedings of the writ petition filed by Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) Waruna Jayasundara, after the Attorney General informed the court that no decision had been made to arrest him at this stage in connection with the investigations into the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks.



The writ petition filed by Jayasundara, seeking an order preventing his arrest in connection with the Easter attack investigations, was taken up today before a Court of Appeal bench comprising Justices Shashi Mahendran and Aditya Patabendige.
