Srilanka, June 25 -- The Colombo High Court today (25) directed that summons be issued to two Indian witnesses in the case filed against Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa over the 'Krrish' project deal, following the procedure set out under the Judicial Service Commission circular for issuing summons to foreign witnesses.

The order was issued after the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed the court that the two witnesses in question could not be contacted, Ada Derana reporter said.

Colombo High Court Judge Nadee Aparna Suwandurugoda instructed that steps be taken to serve summons in accordance with the established legal procedure for foreign witnesses.
