Cabinet subcommittee reviews development plans for 25 technical colleges
Srilanka, July 9 -- The third meeting of the Cabinet subcommittee appointed to develop 25 Technical and Vocational Colleges under the Department of Technical Education and Training was held today (09), with discussions focusing on modernising vocational education in Sri Lanka.
The meeting, held at the Parliament Complex, was chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
Officials discussed plans to expand opportunities in vocational education, improve infrastructure facilities, and implement development measures aimed at upgrading the selected technical and industrial colleges.
