SriLanka, Oct. 30 -- The Colombo High Court has ordered that the revision applications filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), seeking to set aside the decision of the Colombo Magistrate's Court to grant bail to three suspects, including Rakitha Rajapakshe and Charith Abeysinghe, be taken up for hearing on February 9, 2027.

The suspects had been remanded in connection with the alleged acceptance of bribes from the wife of alleged notorious drug trafficker Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, alias 'Harak Kata'.

However, they were granted bail by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court on July 28, 2026.
