Appeals Court fixes June 17 for facts verification in Nalin Fernando petition
Sri Lanka, June 1 -- The Court of Appeal has ordered that a petition filed by imprisoned former Minister Nalin Fernando, seeking the dismissal of an indictment served against him by the Attorney General in connection with the "carrom board case," be called on June 17 for the verification of facts.
The petition was taken up today (01) before a Court of Appeal bench comprising Justices P. Kumararatnam and Pradeep Hettiarachchi, said Ada Derana reporter.
