Srilanka, Sept. 27 -- Concerns and proposals regarding Advance Personal Income Tax (APIT) were raised during a special discussion between Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando and members of the National Executive Committee of the Banks and Finance Forum.



The meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance, with banking and financial sector representatives presenting their views on APIT and expressing hope for a favourable response from the authorities.



The discussions also covered Sri Lanka's recent economic progress and achievements, as well as the distribution of economic benefits among the public.
