Sri Lanka, April 4 -- Three suspects have been arrested by police along with 20 vehicles, including recently assembled luxury vehicles that were illegally put together.

It has been revealed that the illegally assembled vehicles were used for organized criminal activities and that police officers and members of the armed forces had assisted in assembling these vehicles unlawfully.

The arrested suspects are residents of Kadawatha, Gampaha and Ja-Ela.

Based on information obtained from the suspects, these vehicles were discovered in Kadawatha, Meegahawatta and Monaragala. Information has also been uncovered about nearly 40 such illegally assembled vehicles.

Among the vehicles taken into police custody are luxury cars, jeeps, vans, lorrie...
