Hyderabad, March 1 -- Telangana Irrigation Minister Capt N. Uttam Kumar Reddy declared on Friday that the Congress Government is set to take criminal action against those responsible for damages to Medigadda and other barrages, based on a report submitted by the Vigilance Department.
Addressing the media at Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat here on Friday, he asserted that the Kaleshwaram project is the biggest scam in India.
Reddy clarified that the Medigadda barrage, constructed by L&T, saw no evidence of execution through a sub-contract. Consequently, pending bills of Rs 400 crore for L&T have been halted.
