Srinagar, May 3 -- Security forces on Friday busted a terrorist hideout and recovered arms in a forest area in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district.

The hideout was busted over a week after militants and joint forces exchanged fire at Renji forest area of Aragam, Bandipora.

Police said the hideout was busted by joint forces at Changali forest Aragam.

"In a joint operation, Indian Army -13 RR, Bandipora police & 3rd Bn CRPF busted a terrorist hideout in Changali forest Aragam. Arms & ammunition & other material recovered," police said, adding a case has been registered under relevant section of law in Police station Aragam .
