Jaipur, April 26 -- Around 11.77 per cent of 2.80 crore voters exercised their franchise in the first two hours of Lok Sabha elections from 13 seats of Rajasthan amid tight security arrangement on Friday.

The poll officers said that in the final phase of LS polling from the state, Kota recorded highest turnout of 13.32 percent till 9 am.

Among other seats, 11.66 percent votes were polled in Ajmer, 12.75 in Banswara, 12.1 Barmer, 11.66 in Bhilwara, 10.89 Chittorgarh, 12.01 in Jalore, 13.26 percent in Jhalawar-Baran, 10.45 in Jodhpur, 10.5 in Pali, 11.77 percent in Rajsamand, 10.89 in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur and 11.88 per cent in Udaipur.
