New Delhi, March 11 -- The Sharad Pawar faction on Monday urged the Supreme Court to direct both factions of the National Congress Party (NCP) to use symbols other than clock.
Appearing for Sharad Pawar, senior Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi told the court that the senior leader had created the whole organisation. "When people will come to vote they will choose the symbol of the clock thinking it is Sharad Pawar's ", Singhvi said.
Pawar had approached the apex court a few days back challenging the ECI's decision to give the clock symbol to the Ajit Pawar -led breakaway faction of NCP.
