Imphal, May 3 -- The Manipur crisis which began on May 3 last year due to clashes between two ethnic groups has completed one year with no sight of any solution to the deadly conflict.

Different organizations organized separate observations and protests on Friday to mark one year of the carnage. Seven Meitei mothers shocked by the continuing violence tonsured their heads at Sekmai. Family members of the 31 Meitei called upon Kuki groups to inform the details of the missing persons.
