Satara, March 18 -- Maharashtra Rural Development Minister Girish Mahajan and BJP leader on Monday clarified that there is no question of rejecting candidature to MP Udyanraje Bhosale from Satara Lok Sabha constituency.
Talking to reporters after meeting Bhosale at his residence here, he asserted that there was no question of rejecting candidature of Bhosale.
He said that discussions on candidature from Western Maharashtra between three alliance partners of Mahayuti were ongoing and a decision will be finalised soon.
When asked whether BJP is ready to displease the Maratha community by dropping his (Bhosale's) candidature, Mahajan replied that "we have not rejected candidature of Udayanraje, there is no question of dropping his name.
