New Delhi, Feb. 13 -- Indian National Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday accused the Narendra Modi Government of trying to curb the voice of farmers who are demanding justice.

On his social media handle X, Kharge said, "To stop the farmers, the government has put in place everything from barbed wires to tear gas from drones, nails and guns".

He said that in the last 10 years, the Modi government has broken three promises - doubling farmers' income by 2022, 50 per cent MSP and legal guarantee for MSP -- made to the "annadata" of the country. The Congress President said that now the time has come for the 62 crore farmers to raise their voice against the dictatorial Modi Government.
