Kakinada, May 3 -- Congress senior leader and former Minister V Hanumantharao reiterated on Friday that the Congress party was committed to conducting a caste-wise census and also removing the fifty percent ceiling on reservations.
Addressing a press conference along with alliance partners here on Friday, he said, Congress was committed to accord special category status to Andhra Pradesh and also to the welfare of the farmers strictly adhering to the Prof Swaminathan committee's recommendations.
