Jerusalem, April 30 -- Israeli airstrikes have been progressively hitting deeper and deeper into southern Lebanon since October, killing eight children and forcing thousands others to flee their homes, UNICEF estimates.

The UN children's rights agency launched a report on Tuesday titled "Lebanon: Caught in the Crossfire," which looks at the impact of six months of the border conflict between Israel and Hezbollah on children in Lebanon.
