Shimla, March 2 -- Fulfilling the budget promise, the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu headed Congress government on Saturday issued an official Memorandum announcing to pay four percent Dearness Allowance to the State Government employees from next month.
In a notification issued after the Cabinet meeting today, Principle Secretary, Finance said that the enhanced Dearness Allowance at four percent would be granted with effect from April 1, 2024.
The government would enhance the existing DA rate frorm 34 per cent to 38 per cent to the government employees and officers.
These orders would also be applicable to the officers of All India Services, HP Judicial Services officers and the State Government employees covered by the UGC pay scales.
