Aizawl, March 21 -- Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Lal Thanzara on Thursday announced at the Aizawl Congress Bhavan that former Mizoram Police Service (MPS) officer Lalbiakzama, who retired as state Home Secretary is the official nominee of the Congress party for the coming election to the lone Mizoram Lok Sabha seat.
Election to the Lok Sabha Mizoram seat is scheduled to be held on April 19 during the first phase of the general elections.
