Hyderabad, May 2 -- Various forms of cyber fraud are increasingly prevalent, leading unsuspecting victims to fall prey to schemes where they unknowingly transfer funds to accounts provided by fraudsters.

However, there exists another group of victims who endure the consequences of cyber fraud without being direct targets or beneficiaries, an advisory note released by Cyberabad Cyber Crime police here on Thursday.

They (Victims) are individuals engaged in peer-to-peer (P2P) crypto trading.

With law enforcement agencies intensifying efforts through the ' 1930' online financial fraud helpline and cybercrime reporting portal, freezing bank accounts linked to fraudulent transactions has become more common.
