New Delhi, Feb. 24 -- The Indian National Congress (INC) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday announced to jointly contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, Goa and Chandigarh, thus ending speculations on seat sharing issue between the two parties.
Addressing a joint press conference here, Congress leader Mukul Wasnik alongwith AAP leaders Sandeep Pathak and Atishi said, "In Delhi there are seven seats. Congress will fight from three seats i.e Chandni Chowk, North East Delhi and West Delhi and AAP will contest from the remaining four seats -- New Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi and East Delhi".
