Dhaka, Feb. 6 -- Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Tuesday said Bangladesh is a country of peace, religious harmony, and secularism; and reiterated the government's firm commitment to building a peaceful, inclusive and progressive nation.

Referring to the protracted Rohingya crisis, he sought support of the international community for a sustainable solution through a safe and sustainable return of the forcibly displaced Rohingyas, temporarily sheltered in Bangladesh, to their homeland, Myanmar for the sake of peace and stability in the region.
