New York, March 19 -- Filmmaker SS Rajamouli's period action film 'RRR', which won an Oscar in 2023, is still receiving love from all over the world, especially in Japan. Rajamouli, whose film became highest-grossing Indian movie in Japan, received a special gift from an 83-year-old Japanese woman upon his latest visit. He shared that the fan gifted him over 1000 origami cranes to wish good health upon the director.

Rajamouli posted pictures with the fan and wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), "In Japan, they make origami cranes & gift them to their loved ones for good luck & health.
