Dhaka, Feb. 14 -- Environment, Forests, and Climate Change Minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury has urged the developed countries of the world to fulfill their climate commitments.

The minister made this call during the World Government Summit held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Tuesday, says a ministerial press release.

Emphasizing the need for global solidarity and confidence, the minister said, efforts to strengthen the momentum created by the consensus of the United Arab Emirates during COP-28 should be continued.

Saber Hossain Chowdhury said the underlying "trust gap" is hidden beneath phrases like "adaptation gap" and "financing gap."
