NEWLY APPOINTED 56 INFANTRY DIVISION'S GOC TAKES OVER DUTIES

Colombo, Sri Lanka, Feb. 19 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:

Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, assumed duties as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 56 Infantry Division, amid religious blessings and military formalities at the 56 Infantry Division Headquarters in Kokeliya, Vavuniya on 14 February 2024.

The newly appointed General Officer Commanding was warmly welcomed by the Staff Officers in the 56 Infantry Division Headquarters according him with a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour.
