Bhubaneswar, May 9 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a free breakfast scheme in government schools in Odisha if the party is voted to power in the state in the ensuing Assembly elections, said Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi.

"Along with the Mid-day Meal programme, the BJP will roll out a scheme called 'Apurti' in schools to encounter malnourishment in Odisha if we come to power," Sarangi said briefing media about Sankalp Patra (poll manifesto) of the party recently released by the BJP's national president JP Nadda in Bhubaneswar.
