RPP to demonstrate across country to exert pressure on govt to meet its 40-point demand
KATHMANDU, Feb. 21 -- The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is going to hold demonstrations across the country. The RPP has submitted a 40-point memorandum to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and said that it will hold demonstrations across the country from today.
The RPP has demanded the restoration of the monarchy and Hindu state, abolition of the federal system, corruption control, and guaranteeing good governance.
RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha said that there is a program to conduct demonstrations aimed at mounting pressure on the government in various district headquarters across the country, including Kathmandu, from today.
