DEHRADUN, Feb. 13 -- In a significant decision aimed at giving a stern message to the encroachers the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that a police station will be constructed at the Vanbhulpura encroachment site. Violence had erupted in Haldwani town on February 8 when the administration started demolition of an illegal Madrasa in Vanbhulpura. The rioters torched the Vanbhulpura police station following which the police opened fire to control the situation. The CM made the declaration of constructing a police station at the site of illegal Madarsa while addressing a public meeting organised under the Nari Shakti Mahotsava programme at Rishikul ground of Haridwar on Monday.
