Bhubaneswar, April 9 -- Get ready for hot and humid conditions as the mercury is all set to rise again in Odisha after witnessing thunderstorm activities in the past couple of days.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday predicted that North-westerly winds are prevailing over the state at the lower level. Moreover, there will be a gradual rise in the maximum temperature (Day Temperature) in Odisha.

As per the IMD's forecast, the maximum temperature is likely to rise by 2 to 3 degrees C during the next 3 days and no large change is expected thereafter. However, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is likely to occur in several parts of the state.Weather Forecast
