GUWAHATI, March 20 -- Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, opposition parties have launched a scathing attack on Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his government, unveiling a comprehensive 40-page 'charge-sheet' outlining various issues pertaining to Sarma's administration.

The 'charge-sheet' includes a multitude of allegations ranging from corruption to failure to address critical issues such as the human-elephant conflict, rising prices, syndicates, scams, illegal immigration, rampant toll taxes, and more.

These accusations collectively paint a picture of alleged "governance failure and ineffective policy implementation" by the present BJP government.
