Guwahati, March 18 -- The Meghalaya Police said that they have not discovered any signs of foul play in the death of IFS official N Luikham.

East Khasi Hills SP, Rituraj Ravi stated that they have initiated an inquiry into the case, categorizing it as a natural death.

The SP also asked people to share any possible evidence or link to the case that might be helpful.

Despite the Indian Forest Service Association's (IFSA) plea for a CBI investigation, stating that he died due to allegations of sexual harassment by a government officer, the police said that they found no evidence connecting his demise to these allegations.
