New Delhi, March 28 -- Delhi recorded recorded its warmest day this year on March 27, with a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, four notches above the seasonal average, according to the India Meteorological Department. On March 27, the minimum temperature was recorded as 19.4 degrees Celsius, a degree above normal. The relative humidity oscillated between 82 per cent and 33 per cent during the day.

Meanwhile, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was in the 'moderate' category with a reading of 177, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
