Intruder Possibly Sent to Gauge Troop Alertness in J&K: IG BSF on Samba Infiltration Bid
Srinagar, May 2 -- The recent incident along the International Border (IB) in Samba district has raised suspicions of a potential infiltration attempt, according to senior Border Security Force (BSF) officials.
A high-ranking BSF official suggested that an intruder killed along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district might have been sent to scope out the area and test the troops' readiness for a possible infiltration.
BSF troops foiled an infiltration bid at Samba's Regal post along the IB on Wednesday night, resulting in the intruder's death. The intruder's body was recovered on Thursday.
