India, May 5 -- A black book allegedly related to the deceased convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, said to contain the names and contact details of 221 people associated with him, is set to be auctioned, media reports said.

The contentious book, reportedly dating back to 1997, is slated for private sale by Alexander Historical Auctions on May 15. Its legitimacy will be verified through a forensic examiners assessment, reported the American news website Daily Beast.

Bidders are assured confidentiality as they vie for possession of the item, which is anticipated to fetch over $200,000, as stated by Bill Panagopulos, the auction houses proprietor.
