India, May 8 -- Bengaluru-based deeptech startup Myelin Foundry has raised $4 Mn in an equity round led by SIDBI Venture Capital. Existing investors like Endiya Partners, Pratithi Investment Trust, and Subh Labh.

The company says the fresh funding will be deployed towards further expansion into international markets. It will also be used to strengthen its edge AI platform, which is fast gaining traction for on-device or on-premise AI solutions.

Myelin Foundry's Edge AI can be deployed for a variety of use-cases where companies or enterprises do not want to rely on the cloud for the AI computing needs. Usually, Edge AI is deployed in devices where internet connectivity may not always be available.
