Chandigarh, Feb. 16 -- Haryana Government has decided to revise the Non Practicing Allowance (NPA) at the rate of 20 per cent of Medical Officer, Assistant Medical Officer, Senior Medical Officer, Dental Surgeon and Director of ESI Health Care Department with effect from May 1, last year.
While stating this on Saturday, Finance Minister, Capt Abhmanyu said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved a proposal in this regard.
The decision would benefit 272 beneficiaries in the State. The annual financial liability on account of this revision would be over Rs 4.21 crore.
This allowance would admissible only in such cases and circumstances where it is necessary to prohibit private practice in public interest. The sum of the...
