Srinagar, Feb. 18 -- Despite fresh snow and rain, the Srinagar-Jammu national highway was on Monday through for one-way traffic while the historic Mughal and Srinagar-Leh roads remained closed owing to accumulation of snow and slippery road conditions since December last year. There was fresh snowfall at Jawhar tunnel and Shaitan Nullah early this morning and rain between Ramban and Ramsu, official sources said. However, one way traffic was allowed on the highway, the only all weather road connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country. There is also a forecast for fresh spell of rain and snow from Tuesday to February 21 in Jammu and Kashmir which could affect surface and air traffic.
