New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- Seeking to give clear political message to its support base, the Narendra Modi government on Tuesday decided to issue yet another Ordinance on Triple Talaq- The Muslim Women Protection of Rights on Marriage- and strongly defended the move saying, this was 'pending' issue for long.

"These issues (including Triple Talaq and law to deal with Ponzi operators) are pending for long and discussions on these (in Rajya Sabha) were physically prevented... These are in larger national interest", Finance Minister Arun Jaitley told reporters.
